Antrim firm LMinnov8s commissioned us to work with RLA in Belfast as part of the launch team for a revolutionary new football.
The Mamba Ball was invented by two of the directors of the company and underwent scientific testing in Sheffield University where it was proven to aid the development of core skills.
Our role was to get some buzz around the launch and generate publicity initially across Northern Ireland in order to help create a springboard for sales and attract interest in the product.
SERIOUS worked with leading local freestyler, Jamie Knight to deliver a fabulous picture shoot in the Hill Street area of Belfast and also – to give a genuinely urban feel – we did a shoot in the subway close to Custom House Square. The pictures were stunning and helped carry an already strong story centred on innovation.
We generated significant and very rapid coverage across a range of key media platforms including UTV, Belfast Telegraph, Daily Mirror, The Sun, The Irish News, News Letter and a host of online portals and weekly newspapers. Sales were incredible too, with the product selling out in a short number of weeks and gaining traction in around 30 countries within three months. And we had a very happy client!
