Serious appoints Senior Consultant

Serious PR has appointed Nick Carson as Senior Consultant.

Nick has more than 25 years’ consultancy experience in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector he ran the Press Office in the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland for five years, providing communications advice and support to a total of three NIO Ministers. As a PR consultant in the private sector he has worked with several high profile clients, handling media relations and public affairs, preparing communications strategies and conducting internal communications audits. These clients included Douglas McIldoon, the immediate past Electricity Regulator in Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Association of Education and Library Boards (NI) and BITOR Europe Ltd. In recent years he has worked within Northern Ireland’s Criminal Justice System handling communications around sensitive issues associated with convicted sex offenders returning to live in the community.

In his new role Nick will be responsible for internal operations and the provision of strategic counsel to Serious PR’s growing list of clients.
