Senior appointments at Arthur Cox as part of ongoing strategic expansion
LEADING Belfast commercial law firm, Arthur Cox, has continued its strategic expansion with five new senior appointments.
The firm, which has offices in Belfast, Dublin, London and New York, has recruited three Partners and two Associates. According to Managing Partner, Alan Taylor, the investment in specialist people reflects the firm’s commitment to continually improve its breadth of service and depth of expertise.
“These strategic additions to our professional team will further enhance our market-leadership in the commercial law sector,” said Alan Taylor. “Each of the new Partners are leaders in their field with proven track records in Corporate Law, Energy, Property and Consumer Finance. One of the new Associates specializes in Energy and Corporate Law and the other in Consumer Finance.”

The new appointments include:
- Alan Bissett – head of the Arthur Cox Corporate/Commercial Group.
- Alastair Todd – Senior property partner to build on the firm’s well established property practice.
- Stephen Dawson – heading up the Arthur Cox Consumer Finance Team in Northern Ireland.
- Gemma Napper – joins the Arthur Cox Consumer Finance Team as an Associate.
- Julie Knight - appointed Associate with the Arthur Cox Corporate/Commercial Group.
