Putting PR to work by adding to the bottom line

images2No one in business can deny the past year has been challenging as the NI market felt the pain of the global downturn.  It is in times like these when PR and Marketing services needs to come into its own as a value-adding investment.  In recent months we have seen our efforts adding to clients’ bottom lines – especially in the residential property market where our promotional and PR work led to around 40 deposits being taken for homes in Mid Ulster.  This was particularly gratifying as the client had never utilised our services or those of PR before.  Encouragingly they have said they will again. But what of other sectors?  We have seen clients being contacted by prospective clients as a result of being exposed to our profile building work – and know business has come as a direct result of our media publicity campaigns.

As we emerge from recession it is clear business is being done differently.  Clients often have higher expectations, want to be assured they are maximising returns and are increasingly reducing the risk by taking references from others who have done business with the company they are considering hiring.

One of the great strengths of Serious PR over the past two years has been the way in which our business has grown by reputation.  The vast majority of our work comes direct from those on our existing client roster.  They are happy to refer us because we do ‘what it says on the tin’ – we grow reputations.

As we come to celebrate our second birthday later this month it is humbling to see the increasing number of clients who are turning to Serious to grow their reputations and their businesses.

Maybe you will be one of those who’ll join us in the next 12 months?
