With over 25 years in the business in both the public and private sectors, Nick has extensive face-to-face communications experience with people at all levels, gained through the day-to-day servicing of both public and private sector clients. In the public sector he ran the Press Office in the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland for five years, providing communications advice and support to a total of three NIO Ministers. He knows his way around the Government system and fully appreciates the procedures which must be followed when dealing with Ministers and Government Departments. As a PR consultant in the private sector he has worked with several high profile clients, handling media relations and public affairs, preparing communications strategies and conducting internal communications audits. These clients included Douglas McIldoon, the immediate past Electricity Regulator in Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Association of Education and Library Boards (NI) and BITOR Europe Ltd.
