New Belfast arising on the riverside

While our political leaders remain locked in talks over the future of our province it’s fascinating to see the evidence of the new Belfast continuing to emerge.

Today’s Belfast Telegraph carried pictures of a superb new mixed use development overlooking the river in downtown Belfast.  ’The Boat’, which includes eight high spec apartments stands as a testament to the new, confident Belfast that is beginning to emerge after the period we refer to in our history as The Troubles.  This new bold building, with a strong nautical theme, represents a new style of architecture in the city and is simply stunning.  The developers have shown vision and the spectacular new building will be a superb place on which to live, work or socialise.  For more information check out www.theboatbelfast.co.uk.

The skyline of Belfast if certainly changing for the better. Let’s hope our politicians can settle their differences and lead Northern Ireland to new economic heights.
