National fish and chip day – live a little
Tomorrow in Ireland is National Fish and Chips’ Day. And to celebrate chippies in the Irish Republic will be offering punters half price deals.
Thought today’s piece in the Irish Times was great. Connecting with our love of chip butties two of their intrepid reporters set off in search of Dublin’s best fish and chip. Not a good idea you might think, especially in this health conscious age where salads have replaced sausages and fancy breads have replaced dirty treat burgers. Go

Not sure I’d be welcome back in the office if I returned from lunch tomorrow with the smell on chips on my work suit – but you never know…
