Helping Haven help Haiti

Great morning at the launch of Haven in Northern Ireland.  Haven is a Dublin based charity which builds homes in Haiti. As you can imagine these are needed more than ever now.

Our chairman. Ronnie Foreman has been appointed as Haven Ambassador for NI.  His brief is to raise profile, money and volunteers to assist in the charity’s Build It Weeks where local people can go off to Haiti and share a part in physically building the homes.

It was great to see a very strong turn out from the local business community and several media representatives at the launch event held in the offices of the Belfast Harbour Commissioners where Ronnie is also a Board member.

Let’s hope we can help deliver more awareness of the excellent work in which Haven is involved, raise lots of money for those very needy people and in doing so change lives for ever.
