Green shoots? We think so.

In an economic climate characterised by such uncertainty over the past year it pays to be cautious when deciding whether or not to listen to the commentators who have been predicting an uplift.  In PR and Marketing terms we have noticed an appreciable increase in the level of activity in recent weeks which we believe points to the prospect of recovery within Northern Ireland.  Recent campaigns, for example, for property developers have seen strong returns, with 30 deposits lodged for a scheme in Mid Ulster over a six week period and another of our clients seeing record breaking level of sales.

There is no doubt the professional services’ sector has been adversely affected, but many of our clients are showing sufficient confidence to invest in PR and Marketing, thereby adding momentum to the slow – but steady – recovery from recession.

Much of the responsibility for further stimulating what many believe to be the beginning of recovery now lies with the banks who must smooth the way by freeing up the movement of cash by lending to innovative and financially robust companies.
